The glut of weaknesses exposed in last season's playoffs mean the Blazers won't be competing for championships anytime soon, but Evan Turner's bloated contract remains a hinderance to their long-term growth.

He's gotta go. The Vince Carter trade makes sense financially, and you'll at least get a functional player in return, even if the eight-time All-Star is older than time itself. Draft picks would work too, though. Anything to get Turner off the books without inheriting another disaster contract.
