The former MVP and Defensive player of the year demanded one last career move in the hope of winning another NBA title. Sadly the Nets had a disappointing season by their own admission and Garnetts play was pretty much absent for its entirety. At the Celtics he may have been ageing but he still played at an energetic, aggressive level on both sides of the ball. Perhaps last season we saw the beginning of the end for Garnett. His rebound and blocking stats were disappointing to say the least. At 34 and with a rating of 82, it wouldnt be a surprise to see Garnett drop 5 to 10 points in next year's instalment.
