If Nintendo are serious about transforming gamers' lives and feeding tech into all corners of the home, the NX could operate as some form of HUB, in a similar way to PlayStation TV. The NX console could connect wirelessly to a small box which could be located anywhere in the house. Technology could even see multiple boxes set up around a household, all beating in time with the NX unit. From there, gamers could stream games around their home, or activate entertainment features such as Netflix. The Wii U can already utilise the film-streaming service, but being able to beam it around the house would be great for multi-TV households. Obviously only one game could be running at a time, but being able to utilise other pieces of entertainment hardware - such as speakers - around the house could be huge. If Nintendo want their machine to be more than just another console, they need to plough effort into making it a part of daily life without resorting to fitness boards and gimmicky workout apparatus...
