5. Scan Corpses Of Creatures Instead

Look, I'm not advocating the destruction of all life on every planet you come across... but sometimes it's more fun to throw a grenade into a pool of tiny, round ones and send them flying. That's all I'm saying.

It does have its uses though, as Redditor LordAmras noted that if any faster creatures - like birds or smaller critters - are alluding your scanner, just pump a few rounds into them and stare at their carcass for a second instead.
