3. Flying Centipedes

One of the more unique findings that space travellers have made in No Man's Sky are these things - giant flying centipedes.

If I was planning on building a civilisation and I saw these, I'd immediately look for a way of taming them and using them as public transport for my people.

Obviously, you can't do that, but at the very least you could try to ride one yourself?
