10. Night Time Is Extremely Dangerous

The developers have made it clear in interviews that things get much more dangerous and imposing at night: the temperature drops, you can get lost and struggle to return to your ship, and you also may not see an attacking creature coming as you'll be relying on a torch when visibility is low.

Though most of the gameplay shown off to date has focused on the daytime with its bright colours and majestic creatures, there is a full day-night cycle for each planet, and it goes without saying that some planning will be required to venture out in the evening if you want to make it out unscathed.
