Okami: Ranking The 13 Celestial Brush Gods And Their Powers From Worst To Best

13. Yomigami: Rejuvenation

Yomigami is the first Celestial Brush God that you meet in the game, taking the form of a dragon looming over a scroll. He gifts you the technique Rejuvenation, allowing you to rebuild things that have been broken down.

This allows you to travel to new parts of the map by fixing bridges, walkways, and a few weapons. While this can be helpful to propel the plot forward, it is definitely the least used brush technique.

Most of the instances where this is used is for side quests or adoration points, which can be helpful at times but not necessary. It is the first brush technique you get because it is the easiest one to understand, allowing the player to get a strong grip on the idea of painting things onto the screen.

In addition, the game, more specifically Issun, will usually give you a big clue as to when you need to use Rejuvenation. On top of all of this, half of the times you need to use this technique happen within the same area in the first section of the game.

This removes the feeling of importance to this brush technique, even leading a lot of players to forget that they have it at all.
