The ridiculously named ORION: Dino Beatdown is that game, a jungle paradise set co-op survival shooter from Spiral Games in which five players FPS their way toward continual survival. Like Horde Mode, but with Dinosaurs. Maybe its just me but there is something hugely exhilarating about seeing space marines shoot at dinosaurs. Maybe its the child in me or just the latent Jurassic Park anxiety coming back to get some vengeance for the nightmares, but I cant help being drawn to this title despite its fairly generic premise and production values. The games official website also gives us these details: The game puts five players together in huge, endless environments in which they must work together to accomplish objectives and survive the devastating Dinosaur horde. Players earn in-game credits which can be used to upgrade their abilities, purchase new weapons, unlock weapon upgrades and call in vehicles in order to ensure survival.Experience the future as never before. Make use of Jetpacks, Medic Guns, Cloaking Devices and equip yourself with state-of-the-art weapons ranging from Shotguns, Machine Guns, Rocket Launchers, Laser Rifles.
