PES 2015: 10 Over-Rated Players Who Need Downgrading

8. David Luiz - 85 - CB

Chelsea gave new meaning to the phrase 'laughing all the way to the bank' when they sold David Luiz to Paris Saint Germain last summer for a record breaking ‚50 million euro. Luiz is certainly not worth even half of that astronomical fee but Konami seem to value him as highly as the scouts for PSG and have handed him a rating of 85 in PES 2015. It might be quite harsh to claim Luiz is an average player as he does offer superb vision and is a great all around athlete but his defending capabilities are borderline non existent. PSG lie 3rd in the French League with their worst defensive record in the last five years which speaks volumes for his defensive capabilities . David Luiz was seen as the perfect partner for Brazilian team-mate Thiago Silva but PSG are finding that turning water into wine is a rare phenomena and David Luiz has only further exposed their defensive frailties. His inclusion in the FIFA World Team of the Year is farcical. Realistic Rating - 80
