Player balance will play a much bigger role in all aspects of attacking, and nowhere will you feel the effects of it more than in those crucial goalscoring opportunities. In the FIFA 16, we've already seen players as great as Carlos Tevez scuffing and slicing shots due to being off-balance. In both games, the way a player shoots will be more contextual, depending on their position relative to the goal. For me, PES has always had the edge in satisfying mid-to-long-range shooting, offering a real feeling of 'oomph' that FIFA's more airy long shots lacked. The perfect shot in PES 2016 will now be punctuated with a rumble in your gamepad, which is a small but nice little reward for your efforts. We're yet to see evidence that the R2 placed shot - so overpowered in PES 2015 - will be balanced out a bit in PES 2016.
