PlayStation Classic: 10 Best Games NOT Included
10. Crash Bandicoot & Spyro The Dragon
Kicking off the list with a joint entry just because so much that could be said about Crash could also be said about Spyro. For the purists, Crash's best effort was probably the third (Warped) while Spyro peaked at his second attempt (Gateway To Glimmer/Ripto's Rage).
Both of these trilogies spawned console mascots that, unlike Polygon Man, have remained in fan's hearts and minds to this day. They're also iconic platformer legends, and while the PlayStation Classic does offer up things like Jumping Flash and Rayman, players whose fondest memories of the original PS1 would surely place Crash and Spyro above both of those admittedly great games.
Of course, one reason they might not be on the Classic is because they've just recieved remasters. Crash Bandicoot: The N Sane Trilogy smashed even the highest of expectations and despite releasing exclusively on the PS4 to massive sales figures in 2017, sold hugely in 2018 on the Xbox One as well.
Spyro's Reignited Trilogy is just under a fortnight away and seems on track to be just as popular. One comfort for fans is that while it's not on the Classic, they'll still get to relive their childhood with these two.
