Pokémon Sun & Moon: 10 Forgotten Features That Must Return

10. Get Gift Pokémon Sent Straight To The PC

Multiple characters throughout existing generations of Pokémon games will offer the player a Pokémon for free, usually in return for providing some service or completing a challenge. In the earlier games, these could be accepted no matter what else you already held in your party of six.

Since Gold & Silver, however, gift Pokémon given in-game could not be accepted by the player if there were already six occupied slots on the team at that time. As a result, players have to go through the rigmarole of visiting a Pokémon Center PC, depositing one of the team and finally traipsing back to the gift-giver to take the Pokémon - or egg - into the newly freed slot.

While this is hardly a game-breaking issue, it is a bit of a frustrating process and one that the series could certainly do without. Allowing gift Pokémon received from other characters to be transferred straight to the PC if the player's team is full, would be a welcome reintroduction to generation seven.
