The PS4 is just about a month old and we've all come to welcome it into our proverbial gaming families. Mine sits next to its grandfather, the PS2, and in the same place Daddy PS3 did before I sold it to make way for the new generation. There's plenty to like so far and plenty to like about the future, but one can have almost as much fun trying to make predictions on where this generation of Playstation is heading as they can actually playing launch games. With things like games, applications, hardware, marketing, pubic perception, and even the next-next generation to consider, gaming and thinking about gaming can combine to fill a day pretty quickly. Think back to where we were at the end of the PS2 era and all the possibilities we thought would come to life with the PS3. For that matter, think of the first time you saw a Playstation and put a game disc (!!!) into that clunky grey box to enjoy true 3D gaming for the first time. None of that was incredibly long ago, and we're all fixing to enjoy similar wonderment in the coming months and years.
