If you have been swayed by polarizing mainstream reviews to double back on picking up Knack, I am here imploring you to just bite the bullet if it at one point has ever fascinated you. Seriously, playing Knack is like fully interacting with a Pixar film. The animation is just off the charts detailed, with Knack himself having a ridiculous polygon count. If you have enjoyed classic franchises such as Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank, and Jak & Daxter then give Knack a whirl, for it plays very similarly (or archaically) to the earliest iterations of these franchises. Its most definitely a frustrating game occasionally because of this, but its very hard to deny its charm. Mark Cerny has worked on all of the aforementioned titles and is also the Lead Architect for the Playstation 4, so its not surprising that Knack is a great title to show off your Playstation 4 with.
