Randomly sparking a conversation across Twitter very recently, it's as though many gamers suddenly sat up and realised, "Hey... we haven't actually seen anything running on Xbox Series X".
Yes, there have been demonstrations of the console dashboard and how it can add lighting effects to older titles, but even Halo Infinite's disastrous showing in July was later revealed to be running on PC.
Hellblade 2 hasn't had anything in-engine, the rebooted Fable is years away and that leaked "AAAA" game is actually a new Perfect Dark, but it's just beginning production now.
You can absolutely buy a Series X at the close of the year and hopefully have it run your existing library better than ever, but as for titles that truly show off what the system can do? They're another year away, at best.
