The Division is one of the more frustrating AAA releases of recent years, an initially engrossing game that quickly lost player interest due to the piecemeal endgame content and general lack of updates.

Massive Entertainment is firmly committed to remedying this with the sequel, though, which will offer up all of its year-one DLC free of charge, while promising a more substantial endgame experience.

That's obviously no guarantee they'll deliver on this promise, but considering that The Division arguably has the best core gameplay of all the recent AAA online action-RPGs - sorry, Destiny 2 - if they can refine the progression and post-story content, it could have real staying power.
