27. Throne Defender & Watcher

This fight would be good if it hadn't already been done better. Essentially acting as Ornstein and Smough 2.0, the Thrones Defender and Watcher are relatively decent fights.

They have a decent move set on their own, and look pretty cool too, but when put together they directly juxtapose each other and clash uncomfortably. Basically, they never have any openings, and fighting them is a waiting game. That said, they punish greedy players who manage to defeat either quickly by having the other revive their fallen companion.

This means you have to whittle them down together equally before killing them. Interesting, but frustratingly difficult to find an opening to attack.
