12. Gaping Dragon

Easily one of the most visually impressive bosses in the entire series, let alone the game.

We all had that moment of awe as the intro cinematic played and we were revealed to the toothy monstrosity that is the Gaping Dragon. Based purely on visual design, he would be in the top five at least, but the actual fight is what drops him here.

Gaping Dragon's damage is absurdly high, resulting in unfair insta-kills a lot of the time, and his sheer size makes it easy to circle around and get out of his reach.

But that design... oh my...
