Ranking Every Fall Guys Stage (So Far)

Fall Guys works best when it's every man for themselves and its worst when teamwork is required.

Take note, game developers, not all wars need to be fought with guns and gadgets in a gritty, hyper-realistic warzone.

Mediatonic's wonderfully whimsical take on the battle royale isn't the most mechanically deep addition to the genre, and that couldn't be a more welcome direction for the developer to take. Boasting some of the most marketable mascots known to man and an all-inclusive gameplay hook with universal appeal for adults and kids alike, Fall Guys is exactly what the doctor ordered in these gloomy times.

Taking cues from beloved Saturday entertainment such as Takeshi's Castle and Wipeout, there's never a dull moment to be found in this wacky wonderland of game show madness, and while not every event currently available is a surefire winner, none are outright stinkers, either.

Three teams; nine balls. Keep as many as possible in your team's designated colour until the timer hits zero and, well, Bob's your uncle. The problem is, Hoarders is never that simple because it commits the cardinal sin of assuming your teammates are as competent as you.

Losing through no fault of your own is never fun, and especially so, when you see indistinguishable Fall Guy 1854 sitting in the corner, watch their supposed comrade getting bundled by a posse of opponents.

Am I salty? Yes. Yes I am.
