"The guys behind Burnout and Black are making a new game!" came the headlines, only for us punters to realise that is wasn't a new blisteringly fast racer or debris-showering shooter - instead, they'd ostensibly made a physics demo, where you destroy things with golf balls.

Did you ever play PAIN, on PS3? Dangerous Golf has exactly the same amount of appeal and longevity as Sony's little "Look what the PS3 can do!" tech showcase. It's fun the first few times, watching objects crumple and smash off one another, but still, when you're the people behind Burnout and you make something other than another racing game?
