11. The Technomancer

You can check out a full review of The Technomancer over here, but sufficed to say, Spider Studios nailed some aspects of their Mad Max-on-Mars vision perfectly, whilst falling down in many aspects of the game's overall presentation.

Basically, it's The Witcher 3's combat, except with three stances to hop between on the fly. One for agility and dodging, one for ranged combat and stick n' move poison damage, and one that lets you block, alongside delivering devastating counters. Swapping between these gives Technomancer a great feel and progression in terms of unlocking new moves before combining them all together, but its RPG aspects - the characterisation, voice acting and general animation necessary to hold the package together, don't add up.

If you're the forgiving sort who can get past the terrible narrative delivery prevalent in David Cage's games, you'll get a kick out of everything Technomancer is trying to achieve, but ultimately, it's the perfect 6/10 game.

An Alpha Protocol, if you will.
