Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Reasons It's Rockstar's Best Open-World Game
10. The Small Details Make It Real
Easily one of the most impressive things about Red Dead Redemption 2 is the level of detail that has been put into every facet of its production.
Even just listing a few of the small details that are in the game is enough to make the mind race. Horse testicles shrink and expand, Arthur's clothes get wet and dirty and your actions in the world actually impact the people around you.
Although a lot of this may seem like fluff and padding to make the game world seem more in-depth... well is that at all a bad thing? Unlike any open-world game before it, Red Dead Redemption 2 makes you actually feel like you're inhabiting its world, and that's truly a testament to Rockstar's work.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of those games where you're constantly noticing little things to be impressed about, and although that's true of a lot of Rockstar games, this is a whole new level.
