11. Gunshot Victims Actively Try To Stop Bleeding

Violence in Red Dead Redemption 2 is slow, visceral, and uniquely brilliant. There's a real heft to every pull of the hammer, or every rotation of the lever, and the same approach is taken to those on the receiving end of gun violence in the game too.

Heads explode, and puncture wounds perforate those unfortunate enough to take a heavy mauling from the player's revolver. Turns out they actually react to this violence on the fly too, with some enemies even taking the time to plug their own wounds to prevent blood loss.

It's all in vain of course, but it's interesting to note all the same. Most enemies in video games would just shrug off bullet wounds, but in Red Dead, every single shot is felt, and chronicled in gruesome detail.
