While a lot of characters can slip into the background of Red Dead Redemption 2, Karen can rarely be missed. When she's not turning tricks in town, she's getting blackout drunk back at the camp, and her stormy relationship with Sean makes even quieter nights feel like explosive events.
However, once her lover dies and the entire camp goes sideways, Karen takes to the drink even more, becoming hostile to pretty much everyone. She makes it out of the finale alive, but her fate is left hanging.
In the same note Tilly sends John discussing her new life though, she suggests that Karen probably drank herself into an early grave. It's not confirmed, but the fact you don't see her again - and considering her behaviour prior to the ending - makes this the most likely scenario.
