8. Gunpowder Crafting Gives More Bullets Than Environmental Pickups

Another small note, as bullet amounts found on the ground differ, but combining gunpowders seems to always give you a larger amount of bullets overall.

The recipes in RE2 are as follows (and you can find them in the game, too):

Gunpowder + Gunpowder: Handgun ammo

Gunpowder + High-Grade Gunpowder (Yellow): Shotgun shells

Gunpowder + High-Grade Gunpowder (White): Acid rounds

High-Grade Gunpowder (Yellow) + High-Grade Gunpowder (Yellow): Magnum ammo

High-Grade Gunpowder (White) + High-Grade Gunpowder (White): Submachine gun ammo

It can be very easy to given inventory space to things other than what looks like a paltry, optional crafting item, but stockpile this stuff and get to combining it together. You'll have a sizeable stock of ammo in no time.
