4. The Truth Behind Mia’s Death
Mia was the catalyst for all of the events in the seventh major Resident Evil game.
She was the reason Ethan drove out to the Baker Family home in the swamp and worked closely with that games BOW, Eveline. She had two fates in that game, but after trailers, it is clear she made it out, leaving Zoe Baker to become consumed by the Mold.
That being said, we don’t necessarily know the state of Mia Winters. Sure she seems to be settled in nicely before Chris comes crashing in and unloaded a clip into her face, but perhaps the Mold or even worse, Eveline are still lingering. If not, there are bound to be some lasting effects.
Much like Jill and Sherry, the infection isn’t just going to go away after the credits roll.
She would’ve been changed forever by Eveline and now perhaps this has been transferred over to her child, Rosemary. Or just to get a little darker, the Mia that escaped wasn’t the real Mia after all.
Either way, there is bound to be another layer to her supposed death in the early hours of the game.
