7. The Baker Family

Although the show sounds like it will be pulling most of its story from the ongoing struggle against Umbrella and the T-Virus, one element from RE canon that it would be a shame to see go wasted is RE7's terrifying Baker Family.

The frightening yet tragic tale of the Baker Family haunted players throughout Resident Evil 7, featuring the harrowing story of a family at the mercy of a bio-weapon named Eveline. Seeing characters like Jack and Mia brought to life on the small screen, in all of their twisted glory, would be a great way to the Netflix show to tap into the more modern RE canon.

Whether it's a one-off, single-episode appearance or even a mini-arc running throughout a part of the series, the Netflix series could do itself a great service by putting these characters in the forefront for a little bit. Since the show seems to take place in the modern-day, it may even be worth it to start us off with the Baker Family.
