10. BEST: Capcom Didn't Give Everything Away In The Trailers

Whether it's due to production companies being nervous that audiences won’t buy their product, the constant need to grab attention or just the fact that the promo cycle starts so early these days, companies can’t seem to stop themselves giving everything away in trailers.

Fortunately, this is one trend Capcom have managed to avoid with Village. Nearly all of the footage seen in the trailers was from the first half of the game, meaning players really didn't know what was coming. This gives Village a delightful air of mystery that encourages the player to keep moving forwards through the plot.

Overall, this benefits the game and it is hard to imagine any players being unhappy about this fact. We knew that the village and Castle Dimitrescu would be key locations in the game but the trailers never revealed the explorative nature of the village itself, or locations such as the reservoir or House Beneviento.
