5. Great Shinobi Owl

As it made clear in the opening of Sekiro, your father, The Great Shinobi Owl, adopted the young wolf after finding him scavenging on a battlefield and taught him everything he needed to know in order to protect his Lord.

As a result you can imagine that fighting him is not going to be easy, in part thanks to a huge arsenal of moves and a ton of ninja trickery. For a start he isn’t afraid to throw multiple ranged weapons in order to chip away at your health, and even implements anti-healing grenades which will block you from using recovery items for a short while.

The one trick I can recommend is that whenever he’s setting up to use his firecrackers or anti-healing orb, he leaves himself open the longest, so get behind him and unleash a flurry of attacks. Just make sure to create space in his second form as he can now disappear every once in a while.

It’s a challenging fight, an emotional one, but a fantastic learning process.
