Shenmue III Guide: Where To Find Every Chobu Chan In Niaowu (With Pictures)
Promenade (South)
The Promenade is the main commercial street running right through the centre of Niaowu, stretching all the way from the harbour to Blossom Road. There are dozens of stores, so we've arbitrarily split it up where the road forks at Vendor Avenue.
Traveler's Goods
Disguised as a panda behind the foremost toy on the bottom shelf to the rear right hand side of the shop. This is the second Shop Card in the Niaowu Souvenir Set.
Lucky Number Fortunes
Comfortably resting underneath a pink pillow on the chaise longue immediately on the left of the entrance. This is the final Shop Card in the Niaowu Healthcare Set.
Whole Greens
No need to cry: it's one of the red onions in the first tray on the left of the shop. This is the first Shop Card in the Niaowu Veggie Set.
Rare Vases
Adorably, Chobu is sitting in an ornate teacup on the shelves behind Dong Taishan.
The Golden Buddha
A resplendent golden Chobu Chan can be found balancing in the hands of the Budai statue on the dresser at the rear left of the store. The second Shop Card in the Niaowu Ancient Art Set.
Brave Buns
This Dim Sum stall is tucked away in the Rose Garden. Chobu is on a tray of dumplings at the back of the little diner.
Niaowu Footwear
In a red shoe (the right one) on the glass stand at the rear of the shop.
Guan Yu Martial Arts
In the cabinet near the counter, acting as the pommel of a wooden truncheon. This is the first Shop Card in the Niaowu Kung Fu Set.
Chicken Emperor
Between the vase and statue on the counter to the right of the entrance, directly behind proprietor Xu Houying.
Western Bookstore
Take a moment to check out the brilliant book titles (In Search of Seafaring Soldiers!) before finding Chobu peeking out of a box at the back left of the shop, behind the left most bookcase. This is the first Shop Card in the Niaowu Map Set.
Stonehead Haircuts
Opposite the backmost chair, next to a couple of shampoo bottles.
CHOBU 1P
An absolute pain in the a*se to find, nestled between two red knitted sweaters at the back of the shop.
Light & Brite
Trapped and desperately seeking attention, glowing out of a lantern on the top left shelf at the back right of the shop.
The Phantom's Mask
Disgustingly, wedged in the left nostril of the big red mask at the back of the shop (Ryo's right).
Drunk Tank
Enjoying a tipple of Pinot Noir on the third shelf down on the bookcase at the back of the bar.
Peace of Pawn
Masquerading as Delftware in the right-most bookcase at the rear left of the pawnbrokers. For some reason, this is the last Shop Card in the Niaowu Map Set.
Tortoise Shell
More Delftware shenanigans, on the table to the left of farseer's entrance.
Edge Electronics
Probably the most creatively hidden Chobu in Niaowu, it's hanging off the receiver of a rotary phone to the right of the doorway.
The Stone Buddha
On the central bookcase at the back of the shop, amongst the small Buddha fittings. This is the fifth Shop Card in the Niaowu Ancient Art Set.
