Silent Hill: Ranking 9 Games From Best To Worst

By Robert Kojder /

2. Silent Hill

This is the foundation of it all and while graphically it has aged excruciatingly badly with cringe-worthy voice dialogue delivery, it can still horrify like no other game. Harry Mason is looking for his daughter and must battle demonic school children, grotesquely erotic nurses, and traverse hell itself to find her and solve the mystery of who she is. It€™s psychologically brilliant and will most likely leave you confused but when it clicks, it€™s poetic. Every character serves a purpose into tying the intelligent narrative together. While Resident Evil had everyone pissing themselves from jump scares, Silent Hill was psychologically toying with our mind in outstanding ways.
