We've all come across that awkward interaction where you're trying to talk to one specific character or quest-giver, yet suddenly any other NPCs that have been coded to react to your presence all start talking over one another.

Well, no more! Author Bombchu clearly had enough, and has coded this simple fix to remove any ancillary dialogue that routinely gets in the way of the important stuff.

They even make clear: "This will not affect quest or follower dialogue, or anything that you need to hear. It only governs those random comments that make NPCs desperate for you to notice them."
