Sleeping Dogs is proving it's a contender for most brutal hand-to-hand combat by partnering with Georges St-Pierre.

IGN recently broke the news that United Front Games upcoming title, Sleeping Dogs, is using MMA legend Georges St-Pierre to collaborate on elements of the title, such as the visceral hand-to-hand combat. With such lethal fighting skills ready at their disposal, it should come as no surprise that the game is definitely one to watch if you have an insatiable thirst for brutal fisticuffs. When asked his thoughts on working with Square Enix and how the Hong Kong street fueled brawler's combat was shaping up he said:
"Working with Square Enix has been an incredible opportunity. I'm really impressed to see how the hand-to-hand combat in the game is shaping up €“ it's been a great experience being involved."
While it remains unknown what exactly Georges St-Pierre is contributing too, other than fighting skills, it is definitely shining through in the dynamic combat system in place. Borrowing ideas from the recent Batman: Arkham City, the game is shaping up to be an action experience like no other. Taking on the role of Wei Shen, an undercover cop set in an open-world Hong Kong, you must take down the Triads. In this cop drama you can expect fierce, action packed shoot outs, car chases, and thanks to George St-Pierre brutal close quarters combat. Still not convinced?
