Sony At Paris Games Week: 7 PS4 Reveals We Want To See

2. Bloodborne 2

From Software's Lovecraftian horror masterpiece Bloodborne arrived in 2015 and was claimed by many to be the first essential game of the new generation, finally justifying the release of the newest consoles (it would then be followed quickly by The Witcher 3, which helped justify it even further). Essentially a Dark Souls game in all but name, Bloodborne quickly garnered a large following among the PS4 community, and inspired jealously in the competitors.

After the release of the stellar DLC pack The Old Hunters, Sony have been silent on the game. To most however, Bloodborne is absolutely prime material for a sequel. It sold surprisingly well for a niche new IP and was a critical darling, nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards that year.

From Software have dropped tantalising hints about what they're currently working on after releasing Dark Souls 3 last year, but no one has said anything concrete.

Despite perhaps being more suited to a reveal at the Tokyo Game Show, Bloodborne must get a sequel and now is the perfect time to show it off. This will be the first year in a while that From Software hasn't released a game from its acclaimed 'Soulsborne' series, so fans are starving for news.
