Soul Calibur 6: 10 Things It Must Learn From Tekken 7

6. Improve The Graphics

When Tekken 7 was first shown, it wasn€™t quite as impressive as it could have been. The actual game looks quite a bit like Tekken Revolution and TTT2, with just slightly nicer textures. Keep in mind, graphics aren€™t everything - a game can be so much more than just its base appearance. However, the premier eighth generation Tekken game could stand to look a little nicer. With the Soul series, Soul Calibur was the ultimate game to show off the capabilities of the Dreamcast. Likewise, SCII was and still is a nice-looking game on the sixth generation consoles. Unfortunately, other games haven€™t been quite so nice. SCV in particular just looks €œokay€. It certainly isn€™t an eye-catching game. Since Lost Swords is practically a bowdlerized €œfree to play€ version of SCV, it looked exactly the same graphically. So perhaps it would be nice to see SCVI really up the ante on graphics; put out a release that really shows off what the newest generation of consoles can do.
