Spider-Man on PS4 contains one of the largest and most accurate simulations of New York to ever be put in a game. Of course, this article is filled with spoilers for the entire game, so make sure you finish the story and then come back to us.

10. The Pizza Parlour Music

Spider-Man PS4 is an original and independent take on everyone's favourite wall-crawler, but we wouldn't have the game we know and love today if it weren't for the Spider-Man 2 movie tie-in game. Despite being sixteen years old it still holds up with one of the most enjoyable movement systems to exist in gaming.

You can imagine the excitement then when Insomniac announced that they were not only developing a new Spider-Man game and basing the movement system on that of Spider-Man 2.

In many ways Spider-Man PS4 owes a great debt to Spider-Man 2, and what way to pay homage to this masterpiece but by including a nod to its most infuriating sections.

Found deep in the north-west of China Town, an unsuspecting Pizza restaurant can be heard playing the rage-inducing theme from Spider-Man 2's pizza delivery missions.

For those who don't know (or have blocked it from their memories), Spider-Man 2 featured various missions in which you had to deliver pizza to various locations. It doesn't sound especially difficult, but when you factor in the most unfair time limits and the fact that swinging around too much will ruin the pizza, you may see why gamers spent hours on these missions.
