3. Arcade Mode Is...Pretty Boring

The beta also includes a glimpse at Battlefront 2's Arcade mode, a training arena of sorts where players can test out weapons and skills offline against AI enemies before heading online.

From the little that's shown off in the beta, though, this seems like an incredibly basic, surface-level mode, in which even slashing down hordes of enemies as Darth Maul feels pretty boring.

The mode is to be commended for supporting local split-screen play on consoles, but after more than a few minutes of tinkering around, you'll probably get the itch to get back into some massively multiplayer combat against actual human opponents. Not much to see here, sadly.
