9. Iden Versio WON'T Join The Rebels (At Least Not For Good)

Despite rumours and common sense suggesting that the star of Battlefront 2 will eventually ditch the Empire and join the Rebel Alliance, it would be far too predictable for EA to go down that route.

Being assigned to carry out the Emperor's final orders, a good bulk of the game is apparently going to chronicle Versio's revenge mission to take out the the remaining rebel forces. Hopefully though, the game won't cop out on showing the character actually accomplishing her objective.

Spanning the decades leading up to the The Force Awakens, it wouldn't make sense for Versio to suddenly switch sides half way through, and it would be much more interesting to let players see this side of the universe from the complex perspective of a sympathetic villain.

With that said, the character has to turn good at some point - this is Star Wars after all - but it will probably only come as a last-minute realisation. Because this is official canon and she's not mentioned in any of the movies however, her transformation will probably lead to the newly-turned rebel sacrificing herself to aid the cause.
