9. Bring Back Classes
Speaking of making the on-foot combat more involving and rewarding, bring back a variety of baseline classes to then flesh out and expand upon.
One of Overwatch or old-school Battlefront's greatest assets was how they made you "Play your class", and for as much as it can be fun going on a killing spree and turning the tide as the lamb amongst the slaughter, aiding the war effort in more specific ways would surely be more consistently rewarding?
This would also allow EA to move away from the much-maligned Star Cards system and into a method of unlocking abilities and weapons dedicated to building say, a sniper, a heavy, an infiltrator/smuggler and so on.
Think Poe Dameron, think sniper class with the occasional pistol run and deployable BB-8 power-up, and think pure satisfaction.
