Just how many times can you follow the same strict series of events before the whole thing becomes stale and tiresome? Obviously, the Walker Assault on Hoth isn't going to be the only map available for Battlefront upon release, but if all of the other options follow the same rigid structure as that map - boredom is going to set in sooner rather than later. Sure, you're given plenty of opportunities to flank the enemy or turn their own firepower against them, but they're the same opportunities every time. Hoth, at least, just isn't big enough to support spontaneous or emergent gameplay. If you want to flank, go through the Rebel hangar. The AT-AT shields are down? Start shooting unloading everything you've got on them. Indeed, you'll often find yourself feeling like you're playing the video game equivalent of a colour-by-numbers book. Everything is preordained and predetermined to the point that you almost feel like there should be a timetable pinned up somewhere - telling you exactly what's going to happen at any given moment.
