The Force Awakens was a gorgeous film. Everything about it looked stunning, from the nostalgic style and old-school practical effects, to the subtle and superb use of CGI. But let's just take a minute to admire the sheer natural beauty of the filming locations. Maz Kanata's homeworld, Takodana, is a rich forest land and was largely shot in England's very own Lake District. It's a stunning backdrop, and not the only one. Jakku has already woven its way into Battlefront as a gorgeous desert map, and there's the likes of Starkiller base which could add another frozen landscape into the mix. There are entire planets there to take a small fragment and carve into excellent maps.
