As the year rolls on, 2015 continues to force-choke your wallet. Not only have Fallout 4, Halo 5 and Tomb Raider all come along within weeks of each other, but Star Wars Battlefront is arriving to really kick off Episode VII fever in earnest. Thing is, the road to release has been a bit of a rocky one. First there were nightmarish descriptions of Battlefront being multiplayer-only - instantly putting thousands off who loved the single player content from past instalments - only for EA to do a 180 and state there would be content for people to enjoy offline. Space battles were once thought to be on-rail sequences too, and there was a real toss-up on whether EA were going to resign the best content for the Season Pass (more on that later). Lastly, following the Beta, it brought about some really big questions raised as to just how much longevity you can get out of consistently scripted battles. All in all, not a ringing endorsement. But it's here, and if nothing else, 2015's Battlefront will definitely put one hell of a wide smile on your face. The only question is, for how long?
