Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic Collection Released July 17th?

Critically acclaimed series could see a bundled collection coming July 17th.

Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel are widely considered some of the best games ever made (especially #1). If you still have not been able to play through them, a new bundle aims to fix that. The PC-exclusive set will feature the original game developed by BioWare and the sequel developed by Obsidian. Both will be available as a bundle on July 17th for $20 at retailers. (As seen on Gamestop and Amazon's catalog). I think one of the reasons why we are seeing this bundle come out now would be to remind gamers how much they love the franchise. EA and LucasArts have seen their MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic suffer from declining subscriber numbers over the past few months. Many consider The Old Republic a spiritual sequel to KOTOR and presumably EA and LucasArts wouldn't mind a bump in subscriber numbers while also collecting a little revenue from the beloved games. Could it be possible we see a free 1-3 month subscription for the MMO included with this bundle? What are your thoughts about the bundle? Have you played these games? Are you excited to go back and play them again? Let us know in the comments below. Source: Joystiq
