A new WWE 2K15 teaser video has been released in partnership with IGN. The video features Sting, who emphatically declares the game will offer "Me as the featured guy against anyone out there the WWE has to offer". Does that imply the game's theme mode will be centred around Sting? Possibly. The spot was more about promoting the game's October release, but the wording of "me as the featured guy" is certainly interesting. What we could end up seeing is a 'Two Generations of Sting Mode'. That would see the gamer battle through Sting's WCW history against the likes of Ric Flair and Hollywood Hulk Hogan. It would be similar in style to WWE 2K14's 30 Years Of WrestleMania mode. If this is the case, then it's also in fitting with 2K's marketing of "Two Generations of Sting". They've made a point of that tagline on their website, putting over the fact that gamers will be able to play as both surfer Sting and crow Sting. It makes sense that this big investment in the WCW legend will be built around the in-game theme mode. The IGN video also features a range of other WWE superstars. Paul Heyman calls the release "the biggest video game of all time." Stone Cold Steve Austin appears and states "It's cooler and more realistic." "This game is like no other, the authenticity is spot on" says current WWE Champion John Cena. The inclusion of these high profile superstars is ensuring maximum publicity around 2K15. The first in-game footage is set to be released later this month, as is the full roster reveal. It's an exciting time to be both a WWE and gaming fan.
