Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Every Confirmed Character (And How They've Changed)

By Benjamin Richardson /

51-53. Mii Fighters

Nintendo

No-one in their right mind would choose to play as the Mii Fighters, but there they are. They no longer look like SEGA Saturn models, and according to the trailer, their moves have been "enhanced." But they're still very obviously crap.

54. Palutena

Nintendo

Kid Icarus' Goddess of Light sees her special Reflector and Counter attacks streamlined into a single move, the former replaced with a short-distance fireball.

55. Pac-Man

Nintendo

Did you ever notice that Pac-Man has Pac-Mans for eyes? It's creepy. Anyway, Toru Iwatani's legendary pillhead now has a faster Final Smash, which allows the player to wrap around the screen as in the arcade classic, and his trampoline can no longer be used by opponents.

56. Robin

Nintendo

A meter displaying remaining uses for Robin's Levin Sword and Tome now sits next to the Fire Emblem Awakening avatar's damage counter. As before, both female and male Robins are on offer.

57. Shulk

Nintendo

Rather elegantly, Shulk's Monado Arts can now be selected from a radial menu not dissimilar to Xenoblade Chronicles', replacing the cumbersome system from Smash 4. Additionally, Shulk's best mate Fiora appears during his Final Smash.
