Tekken 7: 10 Beloved Characters Namco Totally Left Out

2. Lei Wulong

Namco

Inspired by Jackie Chan's Drunken Master movies, Lei Wulong has truly been one of the most beloved Tekken fighters in the franchise's history. His blend of multi stance-switching combat, slick story as a Hong Kong cop and traditional Japanese dress really resonated with the fanbase, resulting in one of the most technical characters the franchise has ever seen.

Now, in the advent of Rage Arts, Power Crushes and more frame-watching proficiency applied to the Tekken formula than ever, Wulong is nowhere to be seen.

So far, he's topped fan polls as to who they'd like to see (and has done for years, being Tekken 7 originally debuted in arcades back in 2015), and Katsuhiro Harada even tweeted multiple times in response to fans, acknowledging the love and need for him to come back.

As the most obvious exclusion from T7, I'd champion Lei as the most likely candidate for DLC.

However, is he the most beloved?
