If we're talking about games that bring families together, you can't get much more on-the-nose than Pokémon GO's impact - one that actively saw youngsters and their parents going on walks together in service of filling out their collective Pokédexes.

Whilst granted, Dragon Quest Builders will let players build impressive structures together and you can't beat playing through The Force Awakens in LEGO, there was something engaging and appealing about Pokémon GO, that no other game will probably ever replicate.

Stories of how people were on custom-designed health kicks just for an excuse to get outside, tales of parents who were going the extra mile to catch Pokémon for their younger children, I mean if you took part, you'll know how there was something in the air this past summer, and Pokémon GO managed to weaponise it into one hell of an experience that brought everyone together.
