3. The Block Comes To Fortnite

Fortnite of course had a huge presence throughout The Game Awards, and Epic made the announcement that the Risky Reels area is being replaced by The Block, a 25x25 empty space which will serve as a user-curated showcase for the best creations from Fortnite's newly-launched Creative mode.

To be eligible for the featured treatment, player creations must fit the 25x25 sizing requirements and also be shared via the hashtag #FortniteBlockParty.

Love or hate Fortnite, it's hard to argue with the effort Epic is putting in to keep the game feeling "alive" and involving players in its evolution.

Naturally it won't be long before we see some utterly insane creations showing up on The Block.
