10. The Seraphite Cult AREN'T Responsible For Dina's Death

It is all but confirmed that the untimely and tragic demise of Dina will occur in the early hours of the game, resulting in Ellie’s quest for revenge.

The most recent story trailer frames the arm-breaking Seraphites as Dina’s killers, yet despite the cult being the primary antagonistic force of the game, looking into logistics, it makes less sense for these guys to be the culprits.

Through some clever comparisons of gameplay screenshots and real-life locations, the Seraphites are rumoured to be based in Seattle, which is roughly 1000 miles away from Tommy's camp.

The brief glimpse we get of the individual that jumps Ellie in the story trailer doesn’t fit the cult’s style - mainly for the fact that he has hair, but the inferred gunshot also doesn’t match their form of execution.

It seems that Naughty Dog have something surprising in store for the true perpetrators, but whoever is responsible eventually lead Ellie and Joel into the territory of the Seraphites.
