9. Leeroy Jenkins (World Of Warcraft)
A meme as old as time, Leeroy "Leeeeeeroy" Jenkins was one of the first viral sensations to emerge from gaming's pantheon of nerd-tastic possibilities. A custom-made character from World of Warcraft, player Ben Schultz charged headlong into battle at the behest of a team who were discussing all manner of fancy tactics beforehand - getting them all slaughtered in the process.
Naturally he went down in gaming history, becoming the subject of a thousand more tributes in everything from Hearthstone to Borderlands 2. Now CDPR have immortalised him inside The Witcher 3, as the above noticeboard posting can be found in the land of Toussaint.
At least this version of Leeroy only got himself killed, as oppose to the sad real tale, where everyone perished thanks to his Pippin-like stupidity.
